So sorry to hear of Mary's passing. I spent time with her back in 2014 when writing her Life Story as part of an Avondhu Blackwater Partnership project. Over the course of a number of weeks I learned of the tough life she had growing up in Tullamore in the late 1930's - early 40's, becoming the 'Mother' of a large household at just 14 years of age after the death of both parents. Her story had some fascinating accounts of life back then. I must say that Mary was a lovely lady to deal with. May she rest in peace.
