We journeyed together since we were 4 years of age in school in Clonaslee. We shared many years of laughter and good times in Clonaslee and Portlaoise and I will forever remember all the dances we went to and the great holidays we had together in our younger days. Our sincere sympathies to the Connolly and Hyland families on the passing of Mary Jo. She was a dear friend of my late Mam Pauline Horan of the square. She always went out of her way to make a visit to see Mam & Dad everytime she came back to Clonaslee which was always appreciated. They had great chats reminiscing of the good old days and I remember her stories of the corkscrew hills which I got to see a few years back with my late parents. May she rest in peace.
