I will always remember the lovely summers day when I met Mary when she & Walter first arrived in Schull She was a vision in a colourful floating dress. She settled in so well and we became great friends. When Myles arrived we used to push the pram over the Colla road. We kept in touch over the years and I will miss our chats and her wonderful sense of fun. My condolences to Myles, Grace & my dear God-daughter Anne. May Mary Rest In Peace.

What a superb lady Mary was .After Walter died she had the courage to continue a life enjoying style and fashionable gifts from Myles. She was so proud of her three children. We have happy memories of Grace and Ann babysitting when we were neighbours so many years ago. Neither of us could go to the funeral but are sure she went to heaven where she would have been applauded for a generous life well spent.

I first knew Mary as bridge partner to my Mother, Mary O'Reilly who treasured her friendship over many years. She will be sadly missed by everyone who had the privilege to know her.
