Just heard of Maura's passing. I am so sorry ti her of her passing.
We were neighbours and friends and were involved in Phibsboro
People and had a wonderful time

It was with shock and deep sadness I heard about Mary’s passing. She was a valued and trusted colleague and friend, and I hope her family take comfort in knowing how many people she helped and healed throughout her career. She will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her and working with her.

Maura's Florida friends were blessed knowing her. She enriched our lives with her laughter, love of dance, warmth and her joy of living. Mary was a gift for which I am grateful.

We have all felt shock and sadness at the loss of Mary, a loss that we share with everyone here. As colleagues of Mary, we go about our daily duties in these days with a sense of emptiness, for Mary was a big presence, a vital and vibrant presence at Smarmore.
Mary had a song in her heart from the day she arrived at Smarmore, a great sense of humour, matched with her determination to help those who were suffering from addiction. Her dedication to patients and family members was unswerving.

We will always miss you Mary.

So so sad to see such a lovely lady taken too soon. Will miss the laughts and the singing at work. I still cantt believe i wont see you again.may the lord welcome you with the biggest hug in heaven. You will be sadly missed by so many people. Rip mary xx

I was so sad to hear of Mary's death. I worked with Mary for a number of years at Council. She was my bridesmaid. We had some great times together and her sister Paula. I will always remember her love of dancing. My deepest sympathy to her family.

I’m so sad to hear this news. I met Mary last year in Smarmore Castle and she was a beautiful lady, she helped me out of her own personal time and taught me some wonderful coping tools in life. May her soul rest in peace.

Sincere condolences to all of Mary's family. I met her several times since her illness began but, sadly, the Covid restrictions put a stop to that but we stayed in touch. I will miss her greatly. We've been friends a long time.

I am so sorry to hear of Mary's passing. I sat beside her in secondary school in the late 70's and we actually caught up with each other in Ardee along with my other school mates Rita Campbell and Carol Collins only a couple of years ago. We weren't aware of her illness and it was a shock to hear of her passing but I have very fond memories of her. May she rest in peace.
