I was so sorry to hear about the loss of May. Although I have no memories myself of her, I have many fond memories of my mam and dad (Paul and Maura) speaking about her so highly when we met up with Brian and Brenda. They always said how much of a lovely woman she was, a real lady. I know she enjoyed her time in the sun with her daughters and I found comfort in hearing stories about her in Australia and London at her funeral yesterday.

I am sending my prayers, thoughts and condolences to Brenda and the family

I was told by my sister at my grandads funeral last year that the Egyptians believed that you die twice. Once when you take your final breath, and then again the last time someone says your name. They believe your spirit lives on as long as people kept remembering you. With a family as strong and as beautiful as May, I know that she will live on forever.

Rest in peace xx
