It was with much sadness that I read of Mary's death. As a cousin of Denis, I fondly remember their stays in Bantry. My parents Ellen & Jerry Collins lived in the end house in Parade Field, a little past Denis & Mary's house.
We would like to offer our deepest condolences to all of Mary's family, both in Ireland & America, especially to Kathy & her family in Ballydehob, to Conor & Ruth, & to Paddy.
We will keep you all in our thoughts & prayers through the difficult days ahead.
RIP Mary.

Thank you for sharing the most wonderful life of Mary McCarthy, nee Flynn, born 1929 in Leitrim, first cousin once removed to Sean Mc Diarmada.

Her life was amazing and I enjoyed the difference she made with every journey in life she took.

She was a great lady and raised a lovely strong family.

I enjoyed reading about Mary this morning and may she rest in peace.
