My sincerest condolences to you all - Mary made working in St. Columcille's Hospital a pleasure but much more than that she was so very kind and supportive during difficult times. Irreplaceable in so many ways but mostly to those she loved the most Ruth, Shauna, Zoe and Shane. I often picked her brains for parenting advice knowing there was no better mother than her. May she rest in peace.

Farewell to my right hand woman. You left huge shoes to fill, for such a petite woman. We worked together for over twenty years and we never had a cross word exchanged between us. You are free of pain and suffering at last, far too young to leave us. Our patients share in the family's grief - they were just as much Mary's friends as patients of St Columcille's. Everybody was devastated at the family's loss this week. I know that Ruth, Shauna, Zoë and Shane will remember all the happy times with Mary. Cohen and Cora will also know that they were the apple of their Nan's eyes. You were all her rock and you sustained her during her worst times. She is now at peace and finally reunited with her beloved Seanie. May she rest in peace.
— Hugh Gallagher
So sorry to hear of Mary's passing. She worked so tirelessly for patients and for her much loved family. She rarely had time to catch her breath as she was always so busy caring for those around her. She was a caregiver with a difference and made an incredible difference to anyone who sought her help or guidance. She was a trojan worker who loved her job and above all else, loved her family more than anything and would have loved to have had more time to make new memories but it was not to be.

With deepest sympathy and sincere condolence to the family she treasured so very much.
— Jacqueline Kearns, St Vincent's University Hospital Staff

Our sincerest condolences to all of Mary's family and friends at this very sad time.

Mary was a wonderful employee of St. Columcille's Hospital for over 40 years. She made many friends here and helped so many people throughout her career, through her ability to befriend and empathise with all the people she touched.

We are extremely fortunate to have had Mary work here and are very thankful for her dedication to the patients and people she worked with and how she would always be available to lend a helping hand whenever needed, with no complaints.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all her family. May Mary Rest In Peace.
