Condolences and sympathy to Anthony and Robert and all the Pryce families on the passing of Mary. I have fond memories of Bobby and Mary over many years - one that stands out was when the arrived as our neighbours in Bellevue Park as a newly married couple.

Down three years ago to support our Senior Cup team with an unplanned overnight stay due to the team’s success.. What fun we had that night with Mary in the middle of the celebrations. Anto and Rob, number 8 was my second home and Maro my second mum. Flooded all weekend with such happy memories. And nothing but happy memories, even when she was pissed off with me she was fair. What a beautiful morning today to honor the exceptional, the unique the wonderful Maro Pryce. An incredible wife, mother and grandmother, and a friend to so many over 90 years. You always wanted to meet Maro and have a word because she always had something to say and she would never hold back in coming forward. She was intuitive, entertaining, always asking after everyone and just plain interesting. We will miss the sharp tongue. the wry smile, the glint in her eye as the comment was forming in her brain about to be delivered with her perfect timing and inflection.

So sorry to hear of Mary's death. Her energy on and off the golf course was an example to us all. I was one of her customers in Roma from the early '70's until she sold. She will be sadly missed by many.

I wish to extend my very sincere sympathy to Anthony & Robert on the sudden loss of their mother Mary, together with Mary's sisters Chris, Kathleen, Teresa, her brother Joe & the extended Maher & Pryce families. Mary often called to visit my mother Julia in Corofin on her trips to the west and my childhood memories of her are of a very glamorous lady who was full of fun, with a great zest for life & was very much admired by my mother. 8 Bellvue Park was the hub of many of our nights out with Anthony and Robert and all the gang over the years. Maro was always in the thick of it. We feared her and loved her in equal measure. She always took a slagging in good spirit and was well able to dish it back at you. Maro would always tell you if you looked well but you dare not turn up wearing something she didn't like, she'd tell you not to wear it again! With Maro you always knew where you stood and she was loved for that! Maro was 'in the gang' in all the age groups, she just had that appeal and most importantly, the crack with everyone. Very sad to hear of Mary's passing on 23rd.. my mum had her hair do in Miss Mahers' on a weekly basis back in the day.. indeed Miss Maher gave me a clipping or two .. hairwise.. as a child.. Mary was partly responsible for me getting into EP.. she 'interviewed' me one afternoon without my even knowing I was being interviewed! Rest in peace Mary.

Robert, very sorry to hear about your mother today. It brough me back to the days of your grand parents in Baggot St & our time in Esb. May the Lord have mercy on her soul & comfort you and your family.
