I was so sad to hear of Mary’s passing, sincere condolences to her family who she always spoke so proudly about when she was in store with us, we will really miss Mary’s lovely presence, she was such a kind, warm and thoughtful lady with great style. She would go to Barker &Jones pick up a book, into us and then into the soda bread shop for her lunch before home, we will miss her, may Mary rest in peace.

Formal condolences on Mary's passing but we don't need to be formal here. Mary was a presence in our lives since we were born and a daily visitor to our home twice or thrice daily conducting errands generously on behalf of our mother to John Swans butchers then Eddie Shanleys and finish in Heavys and Mrs Doyle's shop, our mother didn't gamble so she skipped the bookies. She was a local political activist and I recall her singing My Way at a fundraiser in Ned Carroll's pub during an election campaign. Mary did it her way, she has been a neighbour for many years and a friend for ever.Rest in peace Mrs Robinson
