Mrs. Stuart was the first face that greeted me on my first day of primary school. Her warm smile and kind nature immediately put my four-year-old mind at ease and helped prevent a potentially traumatic experience. She will always hold a special place in my heart. My deepest condolences.

So sad to hear of Mary’s passing, who I will always remember as Mrs Stuart my first ever teacher in Junior Infants at Dalkey School Project. She was a wonderful and kind teacher and will be remembered so fondly.

So sorry to hear of Mary’s death. She was such a warm, sparkly, humorous woman. Our family has so many reasons to be thankful to Mary. She was a wonderful Junior + Senior Infants teacher for our older son Jack-the friends he made in her class remain his friends today. Then she was our younger son Tom’s Principal in MET, where she was an inspirational yet kind leader for the fledgling school. And Danny and our daughter Jenny were classmates all the way through DSP. Our whole family are so sad tonight to hear of her death, and we all send our sympathies and warmest wishes to Mary’s family.
