We always admired Maries readings at mass in Our Lady of Victories and enjoyed her contributions to the Parish Newsletter. Beautiful tributes to Marie by her family at her funeral mass. I was so very very sorry to hear that Marie had died ..... Someway she seemed always invincible , so full of live and the living of it ..... she brought such wonderful energy to all she did ....and she did a lot ! And it was the energy of Love ....
My involvement with Marie was in the founding and setting up of the Community Information Centre , which brought us on a great journey of adventure , in many personal ways ...and we had a lot of fun !..She never lost the passion opened up through this involvement .... commitment , even as I’ve heard to our present Budget ...... the will to be of help and service to others .... it added to her journey, and to mine and in all of that Marie was an invaluable friend ....
I have just watched the recording of that beautiful Funeral Ceremony ....Filled with love in all the ways ......a record of a family life, a tribute to a very special Lady .....
To Larry and all of Marie’s family I send love and know her heart and spirit will be ever present in your lives ....
