Sinead, Pat, Olive, Pierce, Mairead, and Dermot,
I have such fond memories of your mam. She always welcomed me into your home. On the street she always broke into a big smile whenever I’d meet her and she always had time for a chat. I’m so sad for you all that she has passed away but I’ve no doubt she’s at peace. As for the hugs and support I haven’t been able to give you, I’m saving them and when this is over we’ll hopefully get a chance to meet up and make up for it. Thinking of you all. Lots of love.
— Siobhan Fitzpatrick (Avondale)
So sorry to hear about the loss of your mam. She was always a happy, chatty and friendly woman who took an interest in our lives as we grew up on the road. We were always welcomed into her front garden as children to play. That to me was the essence of your mam - open, welcoming and warm. Our world will be a lesser place because she is gone. May you be sustained, as a family, by the knowledge that she was loved and respected by all who met her, and that the community are thinking of you all, and praying for you at this very difficult time. God Bless.
— Patricia Kennedy (formerly of Avondale Park)
