Fondest memories of our trip from Donnybrook to Bellaghy for Semus Heaney's funeral. Me driving, you in the back, Seamus Cashman in front. Twelve hours going north and back again. So easy together.

My condolences go to Matthew's family & relations. I knew him once, a long time ago, when both of us were in UCD.
Matthew's unflinching committment to poetry will always be remembered. I hope Mary, family and friends find some solace in his contribution.
