It is with great sadness we hear of Maura’s passing. Maura was always such a lady, always so genuine in her greetings as was her dear late Husband Noel. We will always cherish the many morning chats and banter after the Sunday Masses in St. Nicholas of Myra Church, Kinsealy over the years. It is with profound sadness and much regret that we share with all of you our sincerest sympathy in your great loss. Maura was such a Lady, your beloved mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and to me my Godmother. She was only “sweet 16” when she stood for me and even at that first fleeting glimpse I was charmed by the allure of her beauty and the warmth of her generous personality and gentle disposition. Others joined that club and she made us all feel so exclusive. In fact, any day you met Maura you felt like it was your birthday. She had us all spoilt.
Blessed as she was with many talents in her life, she bore them with a natural nonchalance of the common touch and shared and shared alike her great natural love and affection. We mourn, but yet celebrate her legacy the residual goodness of which will remain with us for the remainder of our natural lives.
