Deepest sympathies to Carla, Kathleen and extended family. I was so fortunate to have met Maura in 1996 and to have been a friend of hers for almost 25 years. She was a fantastic friend who was so kind, caring, empathic and most of all fantastic fun!! She was always great company and I’ll remember with fondness the many nights out and particularly the trip to China in 2000. Unfortunately Covid meant we hadn’t met for quite a while but when we were talking at the start of June we had hoped we’d meet soon. I was so sad to hear today of the news of her death. She was one of a kind and was an incredibly special friend to me. May she rest in peace.
