My very sincere sympathy to the Considine Family on the death of Maureen. I knew Maureen from when she joined the Silvertones Choir and it was a pleasure to meet and chat with her in Enniscorthy every Friday. She was always light-hearted, dignified and with a kind word for everyone...she often helped me with Irish phrases and we discussed interpretation of Irish placenames still evident in Co Wexford! It was truly a delight to know Maureen.
"May God hold her in the palm of His hand."

We were shocked to hear to day, June 26 th, that your dearest Mother had died, and that we did nt know.
Maireen was a very talented , and kind woman.
I first got to know her, when we did a Teacher's Summer Course, in Maynooth, about fifty years ago.

My deepest sympathies to the Considine family and Kathleen, Bríd, Val on the death of Maureenn. Her sad passing brings back fond memoires of another age when Maureen and Flan were in their prime in the town of Gort. Their departure from this side of the country to the deep South East was certainly a win for Wexford, but their memories are still very much alive among the seniors in the town. I know it's a sad time for family, but I know that you will concur when I paraphrase from the scriptures:
'did not our hearts burn within us, as she talked to us along the way
and explain the scriptures to us'.
