Maurice was a lovely gentleman. We knew him from the workingman's club. He was always pleasant and good humoured.
Im pretty sure we've eaten fine food prepared by Maurice at weddings in the Burlington hotel back in the day. Thank you.

Sincere condolences to Maurice's children, grandchildren, brother and sisters, I have such memories of Maurice working with my cousin Matt Dowling on catering for the many outdoor concerts and films during the 1970's and 80's and all the race meetings in Ireland during that time. I would have been involved on some of the occasions and always Maurice with a big smile, a perfect gentleman at all times. Such wonderful times, may he rest in peace..

Remembering the Blythe family and Maurices generosity

I'm so sorry to hear of Maurice's passing. I lived on Phoenix St from 1999 to 2021, few doors down from Maurice and Lily. They were very kind to me and we shared many a conversation and Lily finally got me to go to the local for a couple of drinks with them. Maurice will be greatly missed on the street as was Lily.
