Deirdre and I are deeply saddened to hear about Maurice's passing. We have been shocked to hear of this and send our deepest condolences to you and the family. I have great memories of Maurice through our rowing endeavours at both Galway Rowing Club (GRC) and NUI Galway Rowing Club. We raced along the corrib, up in Enniskillan and down in Inishcarra Co. Cork. He was a huge beacon strength, positiveness and can do attitude. He also had that big wide smile on him that would uplift any sad soul and we will miss him greatly. Maurice and you with the family will remain in our thoughts for a long time to come.
