My deepest condolences to Melanies family and friends on their huge loss. Mel was a beautiful, funny, honest and strong person. Who always had time to chat and brought a smile to my face when we met. May she rest in peace x

I was Melanie’s (and Martin’s) teacher, in Ramsgrange Community School, and I loved teaching her and meeting her, even years later. She was a breath of fresh air and always had a smile on her face with her down to earth, matter of fact, attitude.
I had a vivid and inspirational moment with Melanie, approx 10 years ago. Melanie had broken her leg (probably doing something mad 🤔😉) and I was bringing her, in my car, to school, everyday. I remember this one morning where the student became the teacher and the teacher the student. Between Passage East and Ballyhack, Melanie taught me a life lesson that a million years could never teach me.
She was such a beautiful, inspirational girl and I am truly heartbroken that she has been taken from us, so soon.
I hope her beautiful, kind, energetic spirit will live on in her boys.
I am truly sorry for your loss.
Melanie will forever be fondly remembered with love in RCS.

I met Melanie at 9 years old a beautiful bubbly girl who was friends with all we celebrated our communion, confirmation starting secondary in Ramsgrange, our debs birthdays college in wcfe pregnancy together in all walks of life you were there.
