Melissa had just joined our station when she had to leave to fight her illness. We knew her for such a short time but she left a big impression which is a testament to the woman she was. We watched on social media and supported her amazing efforts at raising money all the while undergoing treatment. Her incredible attitude and positivity is something I won't forget.
