My sincere sympathy to the Barry family on the death of Michael . He was a most treasured workmate for many years, sharing knowledge and intertwining it with a wonderful brand of humour. We shared the Cork heritage and the time on evening duty at the Central Exchange in Exchequer passed surprisingly quickly. he was a true gentleman . May he rest in peace.

Dear Brigid, Marie, Colette and Liam, we are shocked and saddened to hear of Michael's premature passing. While we both lived across from the Church, it is ironic that it was in Horse & Jockey over lunch that we met, many years ago while returning from holidays in Cork. Of course we regularly met since on our walks in St Anne's Park, when we always enjoyed the chats on politics, holidays in France and yes hurling. Michael was a true gentleman, always positive and sharing a smile. May his absence in your lives be filled with many happy memories of a lifetime shared.
