In 1959 when I entered 7th class in St Declan’s N.S DLS although he was in 5th class he befriended me in school yard for that school year. The next time I met him was about 1980 in the Mount Sion Club Centre after a match while he was visiting with another friend of mine Frankie ONeill Leamy Street. May Michael rest in peace.
