Our sincere sympathy to Melinda and Damien on the passing of Mike. We first meet Mike on the sidelines of St. Michael's College rugby pitches watching Damien play for the school on numerous occasions. Mike was always so proud of you Damien and we had great times cheering you on. Later I got to know Mike better playing golf with him in Dunlaoghaire . He was a pleasure to know, always in great form and his story telling and jokes were something to behold. He would keep such a serious tone to his jokes it was hard to know if it was real or fiction until the end when he would, with great expertise, drop the punch line. He will be greatly missed by all that had the pleasure to know him. May he Rest in Peace.
— Conor & Eileen Kavanagh
