I'm just after finding out about the death of Michael. We went to college together in UCD and became good friends. He read a poem at my wedding in 2019. He was an absolute gem and one of my favourite people. My sincere condolences to you on the loss of Michael. He will be sorely missed

I've gotten know Michael over the past 20 years and came to really appreciate him: his intelligence and intellect, his fortitude and stoicism, his compassion, good humour and sharp-witted way with words.
