I am very sorry to hear of Michael's death.

My first memory of Michael is his working with my uncle, Paddy Ging on building a canoe in the yard behind Diomand House around 1959. This was a serous boat made of plywood frame , timber ribs and canvas covering, a fine piece of work.
My father, Larry Ging put a sign outside reading GING & KINSELLA_ BATTLESHIPS BUILT TO ORDER.

I knew Michael in recent years at the Clondalkin History Society.. He was a great attender and great company at tea afterwards., He always seemed to be on good humour and glad to meet you.
