Mick, my daily walks are not the same without meeting yourself and George. Always in good form and had a good word to say about everyone. I know that George will be well taken care of but the little darling must miss you so much, as we all do. Rest in peace, my dear friend X

Sincere condolences on the sudden loss of Michael. He was such a part of the place and introduced us to all the local lore like “uptown” when we moved here almost 6years ago. Really miss meeting him while walking Coco who used to terrorise poor George but loved Michael to bits.

Very sad to hear of the sudden passing of Mick. I always enjoyed a chat with him on the road on my trips back home to Ballinhassig. He and George were always in good form, whatever the weather. Go raibh suaimhneas síoraí air.

When Mick came to Ballinhassig almost 40years ago he knew very few people in the parish but over the years he made many friends and of course George introduced him to many more when he arrived. To all of Mick's family,and good friends. We are so so sorry for your big loss. We are shocked to lose him, and so suddenly. The neighbourhood won't be the same. He had time and a word for everyone. Funny, kind and deep. We are grateful to have had him in our lives. George will be well loved by Yvonne and Bill.And I can see Mick hopping and skipping through eternity....maybe they have motorbikes in heaven too.
