Michael (Mick) Phelan

Our thoughts and prayers are with Mick and all his family at this extremely difficult time. We had the pleasure of meeting Mick because he looked after our son / brother Mark in residential care in Churchtown. Mick was an absolute gentleman and we're extremely lucky to have met him through his time with Mark. The Boucher family.

To Leona, I am in awe of how strong you are during this time; it is so lovely that you’re celebrating everything that Mick was during his life. Seeing his pictures in his heavy metal tops, I never realised he liked so much of the same music as I do. I love Opeth too and they’re not a band everyone would be into. I will never forget how hard you and Mick worked giving up your free time to help set up Citywest Educate Together with our start up group and you both remained positive throughout. You’ve two lovely young daughters and I’m sure that your strength during this time will help them no end. Rest in power Mick
