Deepest condolences to the Berry family on the passing of Mike. We were all saddened to hear the news. He was a really lovely person full of warmth, friendliness, and goodness. We got to know him many years ago through our good friends, the Gilmores, in Cross Street. Anytime I met Mike, when my children were young, he would give them money or buy them ice creams. He had a lovely caring nature and when I would meet him in later years he would always inquire how I was and really listen to the answer. I remember talking to him after Madge’s passing and I was saying how much I admired her sense of style and elegance. He said she was very graceful. I thought it was a beautiful description. Everywhere Mike went he left his footprint of kindness, gentleness, and good nature. We will all miss him.

Condolences to the Berry family on the sad passing of Berso – a true character and hugely commitment player and volunteer to Corinthians in many roles throughout his life. He played with our father who passed a few months ago winning the junior cup in the 60s and he supported us in many ways when we played during our college days on Galway in the late 80s. Many a good night was had in Murphy’s Bar and I hope he enjoyed a few pints there before he passed now that it is open again.
