Deepest sympathy to Patrick and all the Murphy family on the passing of your Dad

Please accept my most heart felt condolonces on the passing of Mike. He was one of life's, all too rare, true gents. I can recall as a kid hunting with SCDH and your dad leading from the front and meeting from places like Old Bawn, Tallaght, etc., which today seems like light years ago.
Witnessing the abundantly apparent pride that Mike enjoyed in seeing his kids (now big adults!) and grandkids, excell in equestrian sport, was a sight to behold. Ever present and with words of advice, solicited or not!!.
The equestrian world is massively better off for Mike's being and he will be remembered most fondly by all those whom had the honour of knowing him.
A life well lived if ever there was.

He was a popular Master of the South County Dublin Hunt who approached the task with humour and he was a terrific person to encourage young people in equestrian sports.
