Very sorry to have learned of Michael's passing when we met by chance his pal Frank last Monday. We had the pleasure of knowing Michael through his regular attendance at daily Mass in St. Brigid's Church in Blanchardstown..... always in his regular seat just a few minutes before being joined by his good friend Frank. We will miss the brief chats we had with him while he enjoyed his coffee in SuperValue after Mass. A true gentleman who we are sure will be sadly missed my his family, his friend Frank and all of us who had the pleasure of spending time with him. Ar dheis lámh Dé go raibh a anam. Deepest sympathies to Janice and Paul and the entire Millington family. Only heard of Mick's passing today. I was recently asking my older brother about Mick's football career and was told 'he was a great player and a hard man'. We only met Mick a handful of times but always enjoyed our chats with him about his football days and his work in the clothing trade. May Mick Rest in Peace.

I was shocked and deeply saddened when I was informed that Mick had died. I knew him only recently through his membership of Hermitage Golf Club. He was an absolute gentleman and a pleasure to spend 4 hours rambling around a golf course with. I am sure you are all devastated and nothing I can say will ease that. But I am a better person for having encountered him in my life. Mind yourselves. Fergus
