Very sad to hear of Mick’s passing. Had great chats with him in the council yard many years ago and he was always in good form. Quite the entertainer in his day! It was an honour to be part of his extended family.

Michael was like a Brother to me, while I was living in Newbridge. He was most Kind, Loyal and his Character was OUTSTANDING at all times. His Friendship, Character and Conversations were deeply Appreciated and well Remembered by me.
A Great Person went straight to God, for giving the people in Newbridge, great example in how to take care of the Elderly and People who live with Disabilities.

Sincere sympathy to Rita, Michael and Aidan on Micks passing. I first met Mick back in the 80s upstairs in Cox's lounge singing with Ollie and Christy. Then later in Kildare Co. Council where we solved all the problems of the world. He fulfilled his dream of retiring and living in Spain and from what I could gather loved every minute of it. May he now rest in peace🙏
