Our much esteemed colleague has gone. Sincere sympathies to all the O'Farrell family. Michael was a very decent man, direct but always fair. With such a clear, concise, and logical brain, he could have been a top class Bridge player, but wisely he chose more useful and more interesting pursuits. RIP.

Sincere condolences to Rosemary and the O'Farrell family on the sad passing of Michael. We first met Michael through The Arch Club where he, along with other parents, was instrumental in developing the club. We were also very fortunate to gain a place in the Special Olympics Friday night Bowling Club. There Michael very generously gave many parents a break while spending his evening encouraging the bowlers. Michael gave tirelessly of his expertise and energy in many areas where young people with special needs significantly benefitted. He will be sadly missed by all. May Michael rest in peace.

I was so sad, and shocked to hear about Michael's passing, I am Mark's friend from voulnteering with CASA the past 8 years, I by chance bumped into them bowling in Alssa after the 1st lock down in July, they were having a father and son day and joined with their good friends Tom and Brian, I was so happy to see them all, as it was a few months because of covid, as I would normally get to hang out with Mark every month at our CASA Socials, and meet Michael when he came to pick him up, a dotting dad always proudly looking at us dancing and having fun, and such a real gent, may he look after us all from above, take care of each other, Mark's pal Kayleen
