I have many fond memories of the special occasions when Michael and I prayed and worshipped together when I was the Cathedral Administrator at St Mary's with Bishop Freeman. My prayer for Michael is that he may now enjoy the peace and happiness of Heaven.

We will miss Michael's erudition, wit and wisdom at our meetings and gatherings and we will long remember his steadfast support and encouragement for us and all those who came before us. We will do our best to keep the flag flying, inspired by his passion and humanity. We have lost a great friend and we know that you have lost much more. Ar dheis Dé Michael.

I am so sorry to hear of Michael’s death. Mary, my heart goes out to you knowing that you always had such great times together on your travels and outings. I have the fondest memories of you both at all the GSIHS conferences and trips. Michael was such a dedicated Committee member and Officer of the Group.
