He will be long remembered in Skerries Golf club not only for his winning ways but also keeping the club's boiler working and the craic he had with Gero & Louis in the bar.
He also kept many a member's central heating on the go too including mine.

My sincerest condolences and sympathies to Liz, Vanessa, Natasha and extended family. So deeply saddened to hear of Mick’s passing. A wonderful friend to my Dad over my lifetime, I grew up with Mick as a regular visitor in our family home and liked him enormously. Always generous with his time if he thought he could help you out, he was a lovely, gentle, funny man with an infectious chuckle and always up for a bit of slagging and craic. He will be greatly missed, but often remembered, with fondness. Rest in peace Mick.

To all Michael's family and friends we send our sympathy. He was a gentle man who loved the game of golf and all that goes with it. I fondly remember playing with him and Louis in Skerries and then I was delighted to meet up with him again when he became a member in Sutton. No doubt he has left a great legacy in the memories of those close to him. May he Rest in Peace.

I have only known Michael for the past year or so but during that short time I was fortunate to have known such a courteous and pleasant gentleman man. Sincere condolences to his family on their sad loss. Rest in peace Michael

Liz, Vanessa and Natasha I am so sad to hear about Michael. He was the best neighbour and we always took such comfort knowing he was across the road. He looked out for everyone and was always happy to help. I will miss seeing him loading the golf clubs in the car in the mornings, it’s just hard to believe he’s gone.
