Dear Michelle, Marian & family - what a gorgeous photo of your dad wearing his beloved Kilkenny jersey during happier times.

‘Gaga’ was part of the Greenisle Camogie team and always with us whether that was side of the pitch, in the Blythe Tavern or Sydenham Irish Club. Even his grumpy side was adorable - the team ‘adopted dad’ especially to all the wee emigrants from Ireland. We shared a special bond. And many a discussion about Kilkenny hurling v Donegal football..

You were soo good to your Dad, especially since he took unwell & there until the end, not an easy year juggling it all during a pandemic. It’s a tough time to loose a relative... the lack of human contact & hugs... sending soo many to you all during this tough time & cherish the memories xx

Michelle, Andrew and the girls..
My condolences on the passing away of your dad, father in law and grandad
As your gardener I will always remember him coming out say hello and having a chat .
He would always be grumpy at something yet happy and nearly always swearing
Michelle .. he would tell me how your siblings, when you were younger and in a fight with them, were scared of you punching them. He would tell me how much he thought of you all especially you .
Andrew he loved the fact that he could watch Irish sport on sky at your house ... yet he would
Moan that you have a beast of a car and never used it .He thought the world of you.
He loved his grand daughters but moaned how quickly they were growing up and becoming taller than he was .
He would be grumpy about Toby and the fact that Toby never listened to him, but would me and others .
A lovely man who will be missed by his family and people who knew him.
Anyone would be happy to have him as your grandad .
God bless him
— Robert
To michelle, Andrew and the girls.
My condolences on the passing away of your dad, father in law and grandad.
As your gardener il always remember the times he would come out to say hello and sit down to have a chat ...
He would be grumpy yet happy.. nearly always swearing ... I would ask him why in the middle of summer in the heat he was always wearing long trousers, his answer would be .. in case a lady turned up..
He loved his granddaughters to bits and would be moaning as to how fast they were growing up.
Andrew , he would moan as to why you had a beast of a car only to leave it on the drive and never use it.
Michelle, he would tell me how when you were younger, how other siblings were scared of you punching them when in an argument..He thought the world of you.
He would often swear at the dog, claiming Toby never listened to him.
He was a lovely man who loved his family .. the sort of grandad anyone would want
A sad day for you all .. he will be missed
Remember the good times with him.
God bless him
