We were greatly saddened to hear of the passing of Michael RIP. Our sincere sympathy to all the Ryan family. Michael was a first cousin of our late father, John Ryan Daniel. Michael spent many Birthday, Easter and Christmas celebrations at our home at "Castlemarine". Our Mum gave great care and attention to Michael for many years. My brothers' took it in turn to drive Michael from and to Crosspatrick for every celebration and gathering in our home. Michael was a lovely kind gentleman with a huge knowledge and great wit and humour.
You will be sadly missed Michael.
May your gentle soul Rest In Peace xxx

We were privileged to know and care for such a gentleman as Michael for the last 12 years, and his brother Matty before that. How lucky we were to have known & cared for them both. Michael was blessed with great health & enjoyed life with us. He will be sadly missed by all his friends here in Sacred Heart Nursing Home. May he rest in peace.

Michael reached a wonderful age and had the blessing that he attained great health to be able to enjoy a great life. However his death leaves a great void in the Sacred Heart Nursing Home as we had the privilege of Michael being a resident here for the last twelve years. He was a man of wisdom and vast knowledge be it current affairs, sport or music he was so well versed and conversant.I will personally miss him as we had a great friendship and it was wonderful to be able to travel with Michael for shopping and leisure trips. He was so thoughtful and kind,he always came back from the shop with chocolate bars for the carers, just showing his appreciation. He loved sport and had an amazing memory and up to date statistics be it the English Premiership or the Hurling and Football League & Championship. His music tastes ranged right through the ages and the Night Shift with Shay Shearson on Tipp FM was his nightly not to be missed music treat which he would discuss daily about the artists that were featured. This brief synopsis gives a little insight into Michael who lived a long life well and left an indellible impression on those of us fortunate to be a friend of his.Rest peacefully my friend.
