I was deeply shocked and saddened to hear of Michael's death. I wish to offer my condolences to his wife Ann and children Ciara and Adam, his mother Shiela, his brother Johnny and sisters Catherine and Theda, and extended family. Suffice it to say I have great memories of Michael as a warm person, a childhood friend who had the most wonderful smile and infectious laugh. We (the Sheehans & the Lanes) 'grew up' together every summer as boisterous children/teens down in the Old Head of Kinsale. Although our paths did not cross as much as we grew older, it is hard to imagine we shall never meet again in person.
May he rest in peace.

So sorry to hear about Michael. One of life's good people and a pure gentleman. In rain, hail, sleet and snow Michael was smiling and always had time for a chat in his busy day. He loved our dog Myla (not). Was so happy to have spent a little time chatting with him, Ann and Cian a budding artist at the farmers market during the summer.
