To Kelly and family,
I was truly saddened to hear of Michelle’s passing. I had the good fortune of crossing paths with Michelle not just at school, but also at horse riding and CADA. Thinking back to our Panto days brings back a lot of fun memories, we laughed a lot! Her beauty and charisma will live on in all our hearts through the wonderful memories we share.

Even though I only had the chance to work briefly with Michelle, I consider it a privilege to have done so. She was caring, always thoughtful and responsive, and burned with creative energy. We need more people like her in our world so it is a great sadness to have lost someone who was making such an individual and special contribution to the world of children's books and media. A talented, kind, generous and beautiful friend, I shan't ever forget Michelle. We met when we both worked part time at a school in East London to support our creative careers and Michelle was universally adored by pupils and teachers alike.

I'm so, so sorry and offer all my love to Michelle's entire family, partner and friends. What an honour to have known such a brave and gentle woman. Even for a brief time.

Very sad to hear about the passing of Michelle. I didn't know her, but I remember reading about her in the papers a few years back. She appeared like a genuine, ambitious and friendly sort of person. My sincere condolences to her family and her friends. RiP

I will never forget stomping around London with my beautiful tall friend, her in her heels and I in my flats. We were a right pair: pinky and the brain. I could never remember which one I was, so Michelle was probably the brain.

Feeling the pain of loss but also joy and gratefulness for being Michelle’s sidekick over those years.
