Everyone was Mick's friend. He was one of the kindest people I have ever encountered.
I remember one day a handful of years ago I got a phone call from a very confused fella (Tommy).
Tommy & I worked together for 20 or so years in Colorado and he said there's a couple of fellas here with strange accent's that sound like you waiting for you but they won't tell me who they are. I duly arrived and there was the bould Mick with his wry smile and his good friend Paddy Halligan.
The most memorable day and a half ensued that I will treasure forever.
Mick, you were a gentleman.

My sincerest condolences to Helen, Michelle, Denise, Niamh and Michael on the very sudden loss of Mick.
A great friend of mine for more than forty years, I will miss him very much. We shared many interests but uppermost was our mutual love of motorcycle road racing and theatre. He was a very loyal friend with an amazing gift of quick wit and good humour. We shared many a journey together and I'll remember those with fond memories forever. He was always available to do a favour for a friend at a moments notice with one of his familiar comments: " That's no problem and shall be done my friend ". I'm so very proud to have known Mick and his warm friendship enriched my life very much.
