Orla, I was very sad to hear of the passing of your dear husband from Leon. I had the pleasure of teaching Mike how to drive.As a child I loved a show called The Greatest American Hero and that's who Mike reminded me of.He had a lovely energy and such an up tempo attitude.Myself and my wife Jane will keep you both in our thoughts at this very sad time.

We will remember Mike for all his fun coaching sessions, always focused on the ball and unending words of encouragement. Also off the pitch - always smiling and infectious enthusiasm. The new of Mikes passing is a real shock. What a nice kind and gentle soul he was. He was always so helpful and a real gentleman. Great at what he did, always willing to help others and pass on his knowledge, great craic outside the office and a fantastic friend, even after we no longer worked together. I know he will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
