I and my dearly departed wife, Katherine, partook in several military pilgrimages which Msgr Ted led from Ireland to Lourdes. I have fond memories which I cherish of these wonderful occasions.

Deepest sympathy to the relatives of Msgr Dunne.
My father was the grave digger in Dunboyne, and I was in the defense forces when the Monsignor came to the village.
We got to meet with him quite often and he was always a thorough gentleman.
He was a bit of a legend as he was awarded the distinguished service medal for giving spiritual comfort under fire in Naquora , Lebanon.

He had a tremendous gift of oration which came through in his wonderful homilies.

He will be greatly missed.
