Helen and Catherine,
Our deepest sympathies on Nan’s passing. I have fond memories of visiting her and Hugh in Letterard with my parents Macdara and Bríd. When they moved to Galway they were sadly missed by my parents. She was full of life and fun and Hugh was one of nature’s gentlemen, they were a glamours couple and never lost touch with friends in Carna.
May the sands of Moyrus rest easy on them .Leaba I measc na náomh don bheirt acu.

Auntie Nan, what treasured memories I have of you since I was a child. The soft voice, the twinkle in the eye, your gentle smile. You were so relaxed and fun. How exciting it was to go into Brennan's on the quay as a child home on holidays with you, Hugh, my Dad and watch you play cards whilst Helen and I sat with a bag of tatos. Your house was so warm and welcoming. Sitting at your kitchen table and people just coming and going all the time. Always something cooking, something going on.
What a wonderful life and marriage you had.
Sincere condolences to Helen, Catherine, Lauren, Kirstie, John, Nell in Boston, and your extended family and many friends.
Rest in peace, reunited with your beloved Hugh. I will miss you .
