Hearing, during the moments of silence at the Aviva today, of the sad death of Niall, RIP. It took me back almost 60 years (1963-66) to happy years working for Martin Quin & Co. Under the Partnership of John Beirne and Bobby Brophy, later joined by Niall. May their souls Rest in Peace. My deepest sympathy to all his family. I decided to watch a recording of the Mass in Foxrock Church, which was such a wonderful tribute, with outstanding music and singing, and offered it up for the happy repose of their souls. I am sure there is great celebrating in Heaven tonight with Ireland’s fantastic win. Will have them remembered in Masses offered by St. Patrick’s Missionary Society. 🙏
