What a loss! We were devastated to hear of Nicks passing. Difficult times ahead.
We celebrate his many talents, his kindness and and the endless jokes during the recoding sessions in our studio as we were recording the 'talent' as he called them. So much fun.
We celebrate him by replaying the mishmash shows!

Nick was such a wonderful person and I couldn't believe the sad news.
When I would meet Nick for years in Helen's Bar during the summer entertaining the crowd with his amazing voice, music and humour, he would always play Elvis Presley's "Muss i denn zum Städele hinaus" for me as a German and he had great fun singing it..
I am pretty certain he will entertain everyone in his new realm until we all meet again.

Nick must've touched the hearts of anyone and everyone who had spent any time with him. He certainly touched mine and my family's to a great extent. He, for me, personally set a high bar for behavioral standards and what was just about acceptable in terms of humour. His patience and attention to fine detail when coaching me for the guitar solos in the "Bottles" band was inspiring. In return, I attempted to remain just as patient in helping him with this new technology called "computers".
His enthusiasm and wit have most definitely rubbed off and I feel a better person for that.

Dear Suzy, Patrick and Alex, my sincere condolences to you all. My very first memory of Nick was a phone call I received at"me-time". He wanted to buy a voucher for his beloved Sue. All I could take in was his amazing,beautiful voice. I had never spoken or met him before but by the time he finished telling me what he wanted I realised I hadn't listened to what he said. All I could think of "what an amazing voice he has". We always had a good old chat and a laugh when we met. Nick was a true gentleman, a great community man, and good friend. We will forever miss his singing, wit, and hearty laugh.
Nick volunteered so much of his free time to the community. He was member and chairman of Bonane Community Council for many years. He was the leader of our Parish choir and entertained us for many years at our New Year Eve‘s parties at Molly’s. Nick also had a fundamental role with the women’s group and their renowned play “Parcel from America”
Nick you were one of the best parcels that Bonane has ever received. You will be remembered and missed forever. Your memory lives on in every song and laugh, as we will always be reminded of you.

We are very sad to learn of the death of Nick.
Our sympathies to all his family & friends. We had great great fun with Nick while working together with the cat & mayhem on Kingdom Ceili in times gone by but not forgotten on Radio Kerry.
