I wish to offer sincere condolences to Catherine and the girls Clodagh and Katie and to Noel’s siblings and his many friends on his untimely and sudden departure from this life . Both Cathy and I have known Noel since our secondary school days in Ballyhaunis ( early 1970’s) .His wit and devilment character was evident then as I recall . Our reconnection in more recent times came about thanks to the “ tea and more “ much more, with the occasional meetings compliments of Martin and Martina Gavin whose hospitality knows no bounds .Rest in peace Noel .Cathal and Cathy Carroll and family .

We got to know Noel back in 2001 when Paddy Regan requested him to take part in a play ‘When Your Number is up’. Noel gladly committed and took to the stage like a ‘pro’. One request Noel asked off Paddy & cast that the play be staged one night for his top charity ‘CROI’
Request granted and play was performed to full house in the then White House days, Noel was so happy to have got the opportunity to raise funds for CROI,
Noel was a great cast member and will be greatly missed .
