My deepest sympathy to all the Doherty and de Burca family. I have just heard about Nora's death and am sad and shocked. I was at Loreto Convent and a boarder with Nora - she was one of the nicest people I have ever known in my life. We had happy times there. I also met her at our class reunion when I came back from New Zealand.
I am settled in Donegal now and go to Kilcar often. So, I will visit Nora's grave regularly. My relatives are there too on my mum's side. Rest in peace Nora.
— Jacinta Clarke

This late condolence brings happy memories of Nora in her quiet gentle ways as a boarder in Loreto Letterkenny and her day of celebrating the 50th anniversary of our departure from same with us.
