Always a welcoming house, Aunt Nora's home a great place to visit and stay when on my trips up from Tralee or Dublin and the occasional trip home from Aus.

So sad to hear of Nora passing.We remember her so well from our Opera House working days.May she rest in peace.

My sincerest condolences and sympathy to all the family on the death of your dear mother Nora and my fond aunt. On my return to Ireland each year I always looked forward to visiting her at Clareville as she recounted the glory days at the Cork Opera House or the Evenings at the Opera, with Eddie, at home and abroad. But most of all I enjoyed her reminiscences of her youth and early years in Blackpool where she learned about love of family, concern for your neighbour and the ability to express an opinion without fear or trepidation. These values and traits she maintained throughout her long life. Although she left the Northside many years ago the Northside never left her. A true Norrie of whom I am immensely proud.
