Michelle and Shane, Life can be funny ... earlier this week I had to visit Kells for the first time in many years and I thought of Nuala as I passed Headfort Demesne and thought of the happy times we had working alongside one another in the Irish Heart Foundation. Little did I realise that she had sadly passed away. I am very sorry for you both because I know you meant the world to your beloved mother and she was so proud of you and everything you achieved. I know you will feel her loss greatly but be assured that she is at peace and her human suffering is over. I wish you both every success in the next chapter of life's journey. Knowing Nuala she already planning the next golf classic in her new heavenly surroundings! May she Rest in Peace. John Moran

Nuala I Hope is at peace now as she travelled a very hard road in the last year .Never complaining
and did not want to worry you all .
She talked a lot about Amelie and the talent you had for cooking she was so proud of you .
We had some lovely times together and will be sadly missed .

With a heavy heat, I am writing this, but the day has been flooded with happy memories. I am comforted with the knowledge that Nuala will be buried with my grandparents. Meeting Nuala when I met the family when I was only 20. Later years Jim and I remember many visits, including the ride around the ring of Kerry. One Easter in Santa Barbara, our new grandson, Andrew came from the hospital. Michelle and Shane so young then. Other visits to Northern California. Our love to Michelle, Shane and Amalie, also Deirdre,Peter, Sheila, Chris, Fergus, Irene, Ronan, Gina and their families. Proud to call you family. We love you all so much. With sincere sympathy. Nuala was my colleague and friend in the Irish Heart Foundation. She organised many a successful golf and other fundraising events for the Foundation. We enjoyed some memorable golf outings together and social outings after work.
