I was devastated to hear of Nyrée's passing. She was my manager at Malahide Castle from about 2008, then we both moved to Fáilte Ireland after that. I'll never forget her smile and her bravery in the face of her illness. We had many laughs and a bond as North Americans who fell in love with Ireland and Irish men. She was a great fan of my knitting, and I'm so glad I was able to do that for her. It's hard to believe such a vibrant person is gone from here. Darren and the Landry family, and Nyrée's friends and extended family are in my thoughts, especially as Christmas approaches. She was so admired by all who knew her. May you find comfort in her memory and in each other.

Nyrée was the most, inspirational and kindest human I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I will miss her smile and beautiful positive spirit. She talked very highly of you and all of her family, I have heard so many wonderful stores about you guys over the year's. I could never put a face to these stories until today..
She was so unbelievably proud of you and your support you gave her. (Even the juices that she loved!!)

Our heartfelt condolences to you on the very sad news of Nyree’s passing. Myself and Clodagh used to live in number 11 and I just happened to bump into Colin and Gail in Swords who told me of the very sad news.
We have such fond memories of street parties, nights out and chats in the cul de sac. Nyree was such a funny and warm person who will be greatly missed.
