To the White family and friends,
I had the pleasure of Oliver's attendance at many of my practical's and lectures and it is with great sadness I heard of his untimely passing. Oliver was a courageous, tenacious, determined and good gentleman, and he will be missed not only by yourselves as a family but by many, many other individuals who got to know him. Fear onórach, a rinne a dhícheall agus a d’éirigh leis sa saol.
Suaimhneas síoraí.

Olly, where do we begin? One of life's colourful characters. He certainly was a card and the greatest of company. I'll miss a pint on his visits 'home' to Manchester and look back with fondness at childhoods memories, first getting to know him when worked in the goods yard of a local factory that backed onto my parents' garden. He met his wife Denise and became a neighbour, living opposite for many years.

Board Street, in Ashton Under Lyne has never been quite as lively since Ol parted for Tralee and his adventures there. He created a big hole in the lives of many but he filled it when he returned back. I always looked forward to the next time, sadly there will not be one in this journey. The hole is bigger and won't be topped up. RIP Olly, ride free wherever you are x
